  • IVC Embraces Openness at AIB Corporate Banking

Occupying seven floors of office space, AIB Corporate Banking called in the expertise of RKD, a leading international design firm to create an interior that reflected the company’s values of openness, collaboration and transparency over a total area of 14,000m2. For common areas, the canteen, tea stations, meeting areas and board rooms; RKD has used wood-effects from IVC’s Moduleo 55 high-performance LVT specification to deliver a floor that gives an authentic look with the function needed for demanding areas.

Using a mix of standard planks in Moduleo 55 Woods and the Staggered Columns 203 design from the innovative Studio Moods concept, RKD has created a natural looking floor with additional design features. Using Studio Moods to bring added visual impact in meeting rooms and a feature inset in common areas that complements the vertical panels of natural plants, mosses and ferns used to divide areas; RKD has created a floor that works to enhance the organic, open feel of the interior.

Featuring a 0.55mm wear layer, IVC’s Moduleo 55 LVT construction is the manufacturer’s top-of-the-line specification. Delivering faultless performance in busy commercial spaces, with the additional protection of Protectonite® PUR for a surface that resists stains and remains easy to clean, it’s a floor that can be specified for busy areas with complete confidence. Available in glue-down and click, Moduleo 55 Woods comes in 40 authentic looks each with a textured surface that adds to the realism.

A total of 1,460m2 of IVC Moduleo 55 Woods and Studio Moods Staggered Columns 203 in a variety of decors were used at AIB Corporate Banking. The refurbishment was carried out by Structure Tone, a global construction management and general contracting provider.
