A high-quality foundation for luxury

“In a luxury hotel environment, comfort is key”, Jochem Vanderheyden, contractor at Veldeman Aannemingen, explains. “Eliminating noise pollution is an important part of that, which is why we opted for LAYRED 55. IVC truly delivered on its promise to reduce contact sound by -22dB. It’s a great benefit for Marriott, which strives to create the most comfortable hotel experience possible for our guests.”

Additionally, IVC provided a custom-made colour and design for the Marriott Residence Inn, digitally enhancing LAYRED 55 Midland Oak 22110 with an extra matte effect.

Swift and economical execution

Using LAYRED 55 Midland Oak 22110 also accelerated the project, as the LVT floor has an integrated underlay. This means it can be installed directly onto the subfloor without need for additional egalization. By eliminating this extra step, LAYRED 55 allowed Marriott to save time and money.

“Thanks to LAYRED 55, we were able to install the floor immediately without additional subfloor egalization. That meant we were able to finish the rooms twice as fast as usual.”
