The future of rental

Co-living is not just a trend or buzz word, it’s driving change in the UK rental market. Overcoming many of the problems of traditional renting for tenants, such as lack of investment in stock and services, as well as short term-leases with little security; it is undoubtedly a cornerstone of future growth for the economy. With student accommodation, build to rent and retirement villages combined, it is a market worth some £180bn.

Our Carpet Tiles, Luxury Vinyl Tiles and Heterogeneous Vinyl floors have a proven track record in delivering for the sector. From off-site construction to PRS, PBSA and retirement villages, our floors are helping owners to maximise investment, while providing users with the comfort and style that well-built, considered accommodation can provide.

Durability and comfort

Just because our floors are made in Europe for commercial environments, doesn’t mean they’re off limits to co-living projects. In fact, their excellent durability makes complete sense, providing a floor that lasts longer. Combined with scratch and mark-resistant surfaces that are easy to look after, IVC Commercial floors deliver excellent value.

As part of Europe’s leading manufacturer of carpet tiles and vinyl floors, we have exclusive access to the insights of our residential design team and draw upon their expertise to create products that are made to deliver a home-like feel. Stylish and comfortable, our floors tick all the boxes for accommodation that has thought of every last detail.

That’s why our floors are being used in co-living projects across the UK. From PBSA in Wales to PRS in Manchester and retirement living in Scarborough, we’re providing solutions that respond to the challenges of durability and comfort.

Floors for co-living

Circle Square is Manchester’s newest neighbourhood. Comprising green areas, office space, retail and leisure, student accommodation and co-living space, it represents the future of urban living for young people seeking a way of life grounded in experiences and like-minded community.

Vita Living is at the heart of this new neighbourhood with luxury studios and one, two and three-bedroom apartments. With impressive amenities including co-working, gym, roof terrace and large outdoor space, bookable private dining and 24/7 concierge; it’s the perfect example of co-living of a high standard.

Totalling to approximately 50,000m2 of high-quality Luxury Vinyl Tiles in a variety of wood and stone effects, the project continues our relationship with Vita Living which has also seen our floors used at the city's Riverside development.
