For our textile-backed products, we’re working together with Plastic Bank®. Every day, Plastic Bank® communities search for plastic waste and bring it to local collection centres. In exchange, they are rewarded with life-improving benefits including health, work and life insurance, digital connectivity, grocery vouchers, school supplies, fintech services, and more. Plastic Bank® currently stops plastic waste in Indonesia, the Philippines, Egypt, Brazil, Thailand and Cameroon.
Stopping ocean plastic and improving lives.
Texmark’s textile backing is made using recycled material, which also includes Social Plastic®.
In an average kitchen or bathroom* fitted with Texmark, there are 100 recycled plastic bottles, of which 10 bottles are stopped from entering the ocean by using Social Plastic® from Plastic Bank®.
