Interior designers Mery Reif & Julia Muscheid are in charge of the entire design concept for Mary's Coffee GmbH - from the logo to the interior and the colour concept. The latest Mary's Garden Club location in Munich has just opened with an LVT floor from IVC Commercial used for the first time: Studio Moods.
With Studio Moods, there are no limits to LVT's creativity. Shapes, patterns and colours can be individually combined and customised to suit the project. Through patterns Wicker, Chevron, Triangle, Vortex, Mesh, (Large) Hexagon, Arrow, (Large) Diamond, Pepper and Herringbone, it offers modular freedom. Studio Moods is available in a wide range of stone and wood looks as well as plain variations.
Mery Reif found the flexibility and diversity of the collection, which allows individual floor designs to be created, particularly outstanding. This was precisely the requirement for the interior of Mary's Garden Club – a floor that is exceptional in every way and which perfectly complements the overall concept.
The ‘Garden’ theme was not only reflected in the plants, but also through the dominant use of green in a colourful design based on the play of shapes and colours in nature. The interior has a biophilic design concept for a beautiful, natural atmosphere in which guests can relax easily.
It was important to the interior designer that green was also found on the floor. Studio Moods was used in four seating areas at Mary's Garden Club, each time in a different laying pattern with a new effect. The play between different arrangements of planks in off-white and custom-made green is delightful.
What advantages does Studio Moods LVT offer, especially for projects in the hospitality industry?
Vinyl flooring offers many advantages in terms of cleaning and maintenance compared to real wood flooring. This is another reason why Mery Reif likes to use vinyl flooring in projects of this kind. Studio Moods was also convincing when it came to installation. Mery Reif: "The installers were quicker than expected and enjoyed installing the unusual patterns from this modular floor."
"We are very happy with the design possibilities of Studio Moods and can well imagine realising the next project with it soon."
